The effects of the 1991 Gulf War have been quite devastating to economies, political careers, and most importantly, the soldiers fighting the battles. Despite tremendous research in the 20 years since the U.S. invaded Kuwait and Iraq in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield, many veterans of the war are living with horrible nervous system abnormalities and other side affects.
