Rachel Klein professor at NYU at the Facitelli Child and Adult Psychiatry Study Center just published the results of a 33 year long study of 300 males who resided in New York City and were diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as a child. The study appeared in the October 15, 2012 issue of the Archives of General Psychiatry. The conclusions from the study were alarming and amplify the importance of diagnosis, treatment, and follow through of the medical community when dealing with the incidence of ADHD in young boys.
