The latest research is in: only 3-5% of mammals spend their life in a monogamous bond but a close look at as many as 230 primate species over 74 million years of history showed tendencies for several to be socially or sexually monogamous. Teams of scientists from the UK and Australia are trying to figure out why from n evolutionary standpoint. The clues they have (so far) were collected and published here with Be Mine!
